Nero is now uninstalled and gone I am sad to say , I have roxio, itunes, vso great converter , lots of small free burners of the web and windows media burner, all of these will hardly ever burn an audio cd esepcially if the music is a podcast or from itunes. Nope, it is still copyrighted software. Did get a virus and had it removed and new virus protection software which is working now. All of the problems started when I first learnt how to download films and cut them to dvd, was advised to download nero for the quick conversion rates to dvd format. See if this can help below http:

I have the same question 2. Most part of the time, recording problems are related with small particles of powder acumulated over the lens.

After trying all these burners at least 10 in total I have come to the conclusion that my drive is just not working properly. Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers attempt to trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services.

You mwtshita help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the matshta is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number. As the last poster mentioned it is most likely the lens needing to be cleaned. Can't reload recovery disks because drive doesn't work. I went through all of the above mentioned attempts to fix the problem…firmware update, driver update…none of it worked.

How satisfied are you with this reply? I have tried updating the drivers and uninstalling the drive on the computer and the reinstalling through my computer but didn't do any good. Ever since then, even though nero has gone, writing any data is very 840c.
