The cast insitu construction of the piles produces a roughened amplitude surface at the pile-to-soil interface, thereby increasing the frictional capacity of the Vibrex piles over precast piles or H-piles. When very dense or hard layers have to be penetrated the tube will be drilled by using fluidation.

As a result of this production cycle, the iron concrete monolithic pile, ready for perception of the bearing capacity after concrete gains enough strength, remains in the soil foundation of the future structure.
The steel reinforcement cage is finally lowered into the fresh concrete. As shown in Figure 3, the diameter of the flange along the length of the Omega tool and partial auger fundx increases gradually and similarly from both ends of the tool toward the displacement body with maximum diameter.
Upon reaching the required depth or blow count criteria, a reinforcing cage is inserted into the mandrel, and the pile is filled with structural concrete. The Fundex pile is a true full section cast in place reinforced concrete pile, installed by torque and down pressure, completely free of vibration and pie no piledriving noise. On completion of boring operation, the drilling string and the tool are extracted while concrete is poured throughout the internal hollow pipe.

The ground is displaced, as drilling takes place. During the drilling phase, the De Waal displacement tool Figure 1 fundxe advanced downward into the formation using clockwise rotation and crowd force.
A sacrificial boot-plate is funex to a driving mandrel. Because of horizontal displacement and compaction, the cone-resistance of the soil will increase, which has a positive effect on the pilebearing capacity. Typical diameters achievable with this technique range from about to mm to inchesand to a maximum depth of about 25 m 82 ft.

After ensuring that the drill tube is dry, the reinforcing is placed in position and sufficient concrete for the complete pile is poured into the drill tube. After the funvex hardens.
Fundex piles can be constructed at mm from an adjacent building, but in a corner this distances is more.
The mandrel is 14" in diameter, and the boring tip is 18" in diameter. The resulting system pressure is continuously monitored while laying the foundation and aligned with a point-bearing diagram. Upon reaching the bearing layer funrex or upon sufficiently penetrating soil strata in the case of friction pile design - a reinforcing cage is suspended within the mandrel, and concrete is placed. For displacement piles constructed using this method, the tool with a varying diameter and drill string are advanced downward into the formation using clockwise rotation and crowd force.
Different pitch lengths can be used on the auger flighting depending upon the anticipated soil conditions: Because the manufacture also takes place vibration-free, the Fundex pole can also be used directly next to sensitive buildings.
Characteristic pile loads up to 1, kN Comparably high tip pressure resistance Full soil displacement Good resistance settling characteristics Vibration-free Low-noise High daily performance. The conical tool is modular, and is composed of four primary sections: Inspection B does not rely on 'black box' interpretation to evaluate the pile shaft. The pile is completed when the reinforcing cage is placed in position. Greatly variable depths across a site are achievable as the mandrel may be stopped at any point "refusal" is encountered.

There is no central tendon required, and concrete is not soil mixed, but rather pure structural concrete. The cast-in point has screw threads that enable lateral displacement of the soil and compact the soil surrounding the pile. By pulling the casing pipe and turning it to the left and right, the concrete exits the bottom of the pipe. It is available in two sizes with shank diameters of 38 cm or 44 cm and load bearing capacities of up to kN depending on the existing subsoil. A cast iron boring tip is fitted to a drilling mandrel by means of a chuck assembly.
In some instances, the steel reinforcement can be inserted into the hollow stem prior to the placement of concrete.

The drill point complete with a bayonet joint, is ;ile to a drill tube which in turn is clamped in the drill table. Should this system be applied in very weak soils, it is possible to place a prefabricated core or a thin steel casing in the drill-tube after reaching the foundation level. The upper end of it is fixed in the power working part of the drilling table, moving along the directing jib.
