Sep Update on Pretty but pretty useless reviews. Our one disappointment with the Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CP was that it printed slightly slower than we were expecting it to. Up to sheets of paper can be loaded at the base of the printer. Even photos look decent on good paper. Once worked out, ran fine. Pros Great print quality for a low-end laser or LED printer, good input and output capacity, USB and Ethernet connectivity, good print yields from standard cartridges. USB, Cable ethernet, and then wireless. The printer is dp205w for a maximum paper thickness - gsm from memory. Cons Print speeds are slightly lower than stated, no automatic duplex. We were also interested to see that the DocuPrint CP didn't display the same posterisation problems we've found on almost every colour laser printer — the photos it printed weren't grainy or undersaturated.

If you were going to design a laser printer along docuprlnt lines, there's a very good chance that you'd come up with something that looked almost exactly like — if not identical to — the Fuji Xerox DocuPrint CP There's no option for a higher yield cp20w option.

The two-line LCD can be a little hard to read, but given that the printer is so simple we didn't find ourselves referring to it often. The time for the first page to print on a document matched Fuji Xerox's claims, though — we timed initial sheets at 15 seconds for colour and 13 seconds for monochrome.

This printer beats any inkjet I've ever owned or used hands down. It's a little slower than Fuji Xerox claims, but this is a minor grievance.
