I found a message board like this with someone who actually had information that a Dell laptop contained the same chip and their driver worked fine. Not sure why it would not show up in Windows Device Manager. Now you can find out what drivers.

Open the control panel and access the Windows Mobility Center at the bottom. Make sure you do not have the Laptop Battery in it's bay, as this will keep power to the motherboard and will not allow any BIOS memory to drain from the IC chip. I have 470z checked the Bios and there is nothing there mentioning the WiFi, but will check it again.

However, in order to use all available features of this hardware, you must install the appropriate drivers. I have searched the net and it all comes up with the same drivers and software I have already installed.

I have surfed for 2 days and most of what is out there is advertisements for Driver Dectective and Driver Robot.
